Synopsis

In 2003 Steve Thompson played a vital role in England winning the Rugby World Cup, but aged 42, he can’t remember it. His life has been turned upside down by a devastating diagnosis of early onset dementia. 

 

Filmed over a year with Steve and his family as they attempt to come to terms with this diagnosis, Steve meets brain experts, former teammates and journalists, and a new generation of professional rugby players worried about their long-term brain health.
