Synopsis

Docu-drama set in a future where UKIP has won a shock victory in the general election and Nigel Farage is prime minister.

The film casts actors alongside members of the public, weaving real-life archive footage and scripted scenes to tell the story of how the nation adapts to a momentous change in government policy. Newly elected politician Deepa Kaur, the party’s only female Asian MP, tries to navigate front-line politics during her first 100 days in office, but her ambition for high office puts her on a collision course with some of her most deeply held convictions. With Priyanga Burford, Hubert Burton, Tom Reed and Jamie Glassman.
